It’s finally time for our women’s running group to start back up again!
Now that outdoor exercise in groups of up to 20 people is allowed again, we’re wasting no time – our free group running training will return on 18 June! As before, the HOFSTATT running group will take place every Thursday with our wonderful professional trainer Romy.
This time around, things are a little different:
every Thursday, we’ll be offering two groups. One group for beginners and runners who usually prefer to run a little more slowly starts at 6 p.m.
There will be another group for experienced or faster runners at 7 p.m.
However, we feel it’s important that the HOFSTATT running group is all about fun and not getting too ambitious – so if you’re training to beat your marathon personal best, for instance, the HOFSTATT running group might not be ideal for you. We want to bring women together and help them have fun and enjoy exercise together.
Every session lasts around an hour, including a warm-up and short technique session, a runner’s ABC, to help runners learn or improve their running technique. If you fancy it, our trainer Romy has a few stretching exercises for you at the end, too.
Important information on taking part:
To comply with current hygiene guidelines regarding the number of participants, you need to sign up in advance if you wish to take part in a session. Places are allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, but the trainer will also try to alternate who gets to take part if more than 20 people sign up for a session.
If you haven’t joined the ‘HOFSTATT Runninggroup’ WhatsApp group chat yet, please send us a message via Facebook or Instagram or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your first name, surname and a mobile phone number so we can add you to the WhatsApp group. The chat is only used to exchange information about the running group, such as sign-up details or any changes to the date or time of a session, and nothing else. Your numbers are not used for any other purpose and we do not pass them on to anyone else.
As we unfortunately do not have any changing rooms at HOFSTATT and cannot offer anything similar at the moment due to hygiene guidelines, it is important that you arrive dressed in your running clothes. You can leave a small bag at HOFSTATT during the training. Unfortunately, however, we cannot accept any liability for these.
