Reservierungen:

You can now submit seat requests via direct message on our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Please note that, for the time being, we are accepting requests for only one movie screening per person so that as many film fans as possible have the chance to visit our cinema.

Requests are processed in the order they are received; please be patient—we will respond to every inquiry. Due to high demand, it may take up to a day to receive a reply.

Please pay attention to the age rating (FSK) when making your request; we may have to deny entry at the door if the age rating requirements are not met.

Reservations

Starting now, you can reserve your seats by sending us a direct message via Instagram or Facebook. Please note that, initially, each person may request tickets for one screening only, giving as many movie fans as possible the opportunity to attend. Reservations are processed in the order they are received. Please be patient—we will respond to every request. Due to high demand, it may take up to 24 hours to receive a reply.

If you follow us, you’ll be allocated tickets as long as spots are still available—plus, you won’t miss any important info about the cinema!

When making your reservation, please check the film’s age rating carefully. We may have to refuse entry if the required age restriction is not met.

Sold-Out Screenings

Each screening has a capacity of 50 guests. Once a screening is fully booked, we will mark it as Sold Out on this page. If you’d like to book another screening, please check back regularly for updates. Occasionally, seats become available at short notice due to cancellations. Any newly available seats will be announced in our Instagram and Facebook Stories, where they can be booked immediately.

Cancellations

If you’ve reserved seats but are unable to attend—for example due to illness—please let us know as early as possible via a direct message on social media. Last-minute cancellations are unfortunate, as they often prevent us from offering those seats to other movie lovers.

Cinema Check-In

Check-in opens at 7:00 PM, or 2:30 PM for Friday afternoon screenings. Our team will welcome you with a guest list under the name used for the reservation. Since every reservation is assigned to specific seats, our staff will show you to your seats. Please remain in your assigned seats unless a member of our team asks you to move. Reserved seats that have not been claimed by 7:20 PM will be released to walk-in guests. If you’re running late, please send us a message before 7:20 PM, and we’ll do our best to hold your seats.

Food & Drinks

You can order delicious food and drinks from 60 Seconds to Napoli directly to your cinema seat. Their team will take your order before the movie begins, and everything will be served directly to your seat. After the screening, please return all dishes and glasses to the restaurant. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks purchased from EDEKA van Dungen and enjoy them during the movie. Please help us keep the venue clean by disposing of your rubbish in the bins located throughout the passage after the screening. As a special treat, every guest will receive a complimentary serving of sweet popcorn at the start of the movie. To keep interruptions to a minimum during the screening, no additional popcorn will be handed out once the film has started.

Bad Weather

As this is an open-air cinema, all screenings are weather dependent. If rain or thunderstorms are forecast during the screening, we will try to postpone the event. If rescheduling on the same day isn’t possible, Wednesday serves as the weekly backup date. If the weather also prevents a screening on Wednesday, the event will unfortunately have to be cancelled. If a screening is postponed, all existing reservations remain valid. Guests will be informed of any changes directly.

We wish you a fantastic HOFSTATT Open-Air Cinema Summer 2026 and can’t wait to welcome you to the courtyard.
